Overview

Loomtion helps you compile Notion page trees into structured documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you while Loomtion is in beta.

This policy applies to our website, beta waitlist, and document export features. By using Loomtion, you acknowledge this policy.

Who is responsible for your data

Loomtion is the data controller for personal information collected through this service. For privacy requests, contact loomtion@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Beta waitlist (available today)

When you join the beta waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address (required)
• An optional use-case selection (for example Proposals, Reports, Docs, or Other)
• The date and time of your signup

We use this information to manage beta access, contact you about the beta, and understand how people intend to use Loomtion.

Notion connection and exports (when available)

When you connect Notion and run an export, Loomtion accesses your workspace through Notion's official OAuth APIs. We request read-only access to the pages you select so we can compile documents (for example PDF exports with hierarchy, numbering, and table of contents).

We do not use Notion content for advertising, unrelated AI training, or any purpose beyond providing the export service you request.

Technical and usage data

We may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:

• Browser type, device type, and general location (country/region)
• Pages visited and basic interaction events on our website
• Error logs and performance data needed to operate the service
• OAuth tokens and connection metadata required to maintain your Notion link

We use Vercel Analytics on our website. It provides aggregated, privacy-oriented usage metrics and does not use third-party advertising cookies.

How we handle Notion content

Loomtion is designed to process Notion content only to generate the document you request. Content is accessed via read-only OAuth for the pages you choose to export.

During export, Notion page content may be processed in memory and through temporary infrastructure needed to build your file (for example short-lived processing or file delivery). We do not sell your Notion workspace content.

We do not aim to build a permanent archive of your workspace. Retention details may evolve as the product matures; we will update this policy if our practices change materially.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where applicable under GDPR, we rely on:

• Consent — when you join the beta waitlist or connect Notion
• Contract — to provide the service you request
• Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, and improve Loomtion, prevent abuse, and understand product usage in a proportionate way

Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to host and operate Loomtion, including infrastructure and database hosting (for example Vercel and our PostgreSQL provider). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards and only as needed to deliver the service.

Connecting Notion also involves Notion's own services, governed by Notion's terms and privacy policy.

Data retention

• Beta waitlist records are kept while the beta program is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Export processing data is kept only as long as needed to complete your export and any closely related delivery or support task.
• Security and operational logs may be retained for a limited period to diagnose issues and protect the service.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures for a beta SaaS product, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on production systems, and careful handling of OAuth credentials.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please avoid exporting highly sensitive content until you are comfortable with the beta maturity of the service.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise your rights, email loomtion@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children

Loomtion is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Loomtion evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated by email or through the product where appropriate.
